Recently, a woman approached the Delhi High Court, alleging that her estranged husband and his parents had caused a disturbance during a child visitation. She filed a contempt petition, claiming they violated court orders. However, the court determined that it was the woman who had initiated the conflict and acted against the Family Court’s directives. Consequently, the Delhi High Court dismissed her plea and imposed a fine of ₹50,000 on her. The court ordered her to pay ₹25,000 to her husband and the remaining ₹25,000 to the Delhi High Court Advocates Welfare Fund within four weeks. This decision was made to address her violation of the visitation arrangements and to discourage frivolous claims.
