Pakistan Faces Internal Collapse as Separatist Attacks Rise Amid India’s Precision Strikes on Terror Infrastructure
New Delhi / Quetta – May 8, 2025
In what appears to be a growing sign of Pakistan’s crumbling internal stability, 14 Pakistani soldiers were killed in a powerful ambush by the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) in Balochistan on May 8. The separatist group claimed responsibility, calling it retaliation for years of suppression by the Pakistani military. The attack coincides with India’s ongoing Operation Sindoor, a high-precision military response targeting terror bases in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir after the brutal Pahalgam attack that claimed the lives of 26 Indian civilians.
India has neither confirmed nor denied any role in the BLA’s resurgence, but security analysts believe the recent series of events—from coordinated strikes to simultaneous unrest in Pakistan’s bordering regions—may reflect a new strategic doctrine. According to defense experts, India’s assertive posture post-Pahalgam signals a shift from passive diplomacy to targeted counter-terror operations and psychological pressure tactics.
Interestingly, anti-Pakistan protests have also erupted in parts of Bangladesh, further isolating Islamabad in the region. While Pakistan has accused India of fomenting unrest, Indian officials maintain that Pakistan’s own oppressive policies are to blame for the uprisings. New Delhi, meanwhile, continues to monitor the situation carefully and has reiterated that India reserves the right to act decisively against any cross-border threat.
The Pakistan Army, reeling under the embarrassment of back-to-back setbacks—including the recent drone losses and cross-border precision strikes—is now facing heat from both internal dissent and external pressure. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reportedly been overseeing Operation Sindoor personally, as Indian forces remain on high alert.
International voices have started taking note of Pakistan’s worsening grip on Balochistan. Many analysts now suggest that if the BLA continues to grow in strength and support, Pakistan may struggle to maintain control over the region—presenting a major geopolitical shift in South Asia.
As the situation continues to evolve, India stands firm: focused, vigilant, and prepared to defend its sovereignty and people at all costs.
