It was anything but diplomatic pleasantries at the United Nations this time. India came out swinging, calling out Pakistan over its long-standing history with terrorism.
In a powerful statement, India reminded the global community that over 20,000 innocent Indians have lost their lives in terrorist attacks—many of which, New Delhi claims, were backed or orchestrated from across the border.
“This isn’t just about politics. It’s about pain. It’s about families shattered and lives lost,” said India’s representative at the UN, clearly fed up with what it sees as Pakistan’s repeated denials and deflections.
